I thought sailing past Torshavn and the Faroes was amazing. After seeing Iceland loom up out of the see and sailing up the fjord to Seyðisfjörður, which was two or three times more awe-inspiring than the Faroes, I have resolved to gouge out my eyes. Seeing anything after that would be pointless.
And we were off the boat by 9:00am. Other highlights of the day include: being attacked by an Arctic Tern while hiking up the side of the valley, and dragging our exhausted selves out on a kayak trip on the fjord at six, Hlynur Oddsson runs the trips, a totally cool guy.
